Indianapolis, IN - 3/16/2006 Old Silver Crown racers will get another chance in McCord and Smith's new series.

When the United States Auto Club announced it was going with new pavement cars for its Silver Crown division in 2006 in order to run on some larger NASCAR tracks, the response from its car owners was anything but supportive.

First off, it was USAC's strongest division with almost 60 registered cars of which 45-50 usually turned up.
